At Andrea Osei BRIDE, we believe that true luxury is deeply personal. It’s about feeling radiant in your own skin, celebrating life’s defining moments, and honoring the journey it took to get there. This past October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we had the profound honor of dressing The Real Housewives of Miami star Guerdy Abraira in our Fleur gown from the Fall 2025 collection as she celebrated one year cancer-free.

The emotional celebration, which aired in Episode 7 of RHOM Season 7, not only gave viewers a glimpse into Guerdy’s strength, vulnerability, and grace—but also into a moment that went far beyond fashion. Seeing her walk into that space in Fleur, surrounded by love and support, was a powerful reminder of what it means to be in full bloom after a season of survival.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a time to honor the fighters, the survivors, and the lives forever changed by this disease. It’s also a moment to raise our collective consciousness around early detection, health advocacy, and the importance of holistic wellness. We design for the whole woman and wellness is woven into everything we do, from how we create with comfort and confidence in mind to how we show up for the women in our community.

When Guerdy’s team reached out about this celebration, I immediately knew Fleur was the one. The gown’s sculptural lines and blooming silhouette echo themes of rebirth and transformation which was exactly what this moment represented. Named for the French word for flower, Fleur was designed to make a woman feel like she’s entering her own personal renaissance. Seeing Guerdy step into it with such grace and power was a moment I’ll never forget.

Behind the scenes, we made sure every detail honored the gravity and joy of the occasion. From fittings to final styling touches, the energy was electric. Guerdy’s team brought warmth, intention, and deep gratitude into the room. It wasn’t just about dressing a celebrity: it was about creating a visual story of healing, hope, and triumph. Watching her walk into that celebration in full bloom, surrounded by family, friends, and fellow warriors, was a testament to how far she’s come and how far we all can go when we lead with love and resilience.

The event, sponsored by The Knot, served not only as a celebration but as a beacon of awareness and sisterhood. Guerdy’s courage reminded everyone in the room, along with everyone watching, that beauty is amplified by purpose, and strength is its own kind of luxury.
